Candace Hill, Ryan Bailey, DeeDee Trotter and more confirmed for Atlanta meet on June 4th Track and Field Stars commit to the American Track League meet in Atlanta, GA on June 4th

The fastest girl in history, Candace Hill joins a star-studded roster for the Atlanta, GA on June 4th. In 2015, Hill became the youngest professional track and field athlete at the age of 16 years old. Also Hill was the first high school athlete to break 11 seconds in the 100 meters with a time of 10.98. Hill will be competing in the 100m and 200m.

Local track star, DeeDee Trotter will also be competing Saturday night in the 400m. This Olympic Gold Medalist clocked a personal best of 49.78 and after announcing that 2016 will be her last year competing, the women’s 400m with other great talent Kendall Baiden, and Phyllis Franics will be a race you don’t want to miss!

With early commitments from Former World’s Fastest man, Asafa Powell the 100m dash is set to be the headlining race. This race includes 6 other competitors that have broken the 10 second barrier including US spinters Ryan Bailey, BeeJay Lee, and Jamaica’s Nickel Ashmeade. 

The Atlanta meet kicks off at 7pm on June 4th at the Lakewood Stadium 70 Claire Dr SW, Atlanta, GA.
